Our engagement and consultations

We know that the best way to meet the health needs of our population is to design services in partnership with local communities.

This is why we undertake regular engagement about potential service developments in the Coventry and Rugby area. We use a number of techniques including social media, our website, surveys, events, focus group discussions and one to one interviews. We also work in partnership with community organisations to better engage more vulnerable groups.

The current engagement we are involved with is below. If you’re interested in some of the larger ongoing projects, you can use the links on the left to visit their individual pages and find out the latest news. These projects range from primary care developments in the area to service redesign across the Coventry and Warwickshire area.

If you want to find out about previous engagement and consultations that are no longer live, please visit our page on completed engagement and consultation, where you can find the latest information and outcomes.

Finally, if you want to share something with us about the work we do or the services we commission, but it doesn’t fit into any of our current engagement projects, we’re listening! Email the communications and engagement team to tell us what is on your mind at communications@warwickshirenorthccg.nhs.uk

Current engagement

Since September 2018, we have engaged directly with a number of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and seldom heard communities in the local area. Organisations and groups we have worked with include Include the local Nepalese Community in Nuneaton, South Asian group at Guru Teg Bahadur Temple and the Chair of Warwickshire Pride (representing the LGBTQi community). You can download our latest engagement report here.

Warwickshire Living Well with Dementia Survey 2019

Warwickshire County Council and The Better Health, Better Care, Better Value Partnership is reviewing our local ‘Living Well with Dementia’ Strategy and the services and support available to people with dementia, their carers and families.

As part of this review we want to hear from a wide range of people about what they feel is important about access to services and support, what is working well and what could be improved. This information will help us to develop local dementia services and support and to help review our current dementia strategy

You can find out more and put forward your views by:

Completing the survey on-line using this link

Requesting a paper survey using the contact details provided.

The closing date for all responses is Friday 22nd March 2019.

If you would like to find out more about the outcomes of this engagement, and the future developments of Warwickshire’s Dementia Strategy and services for people with dementia, please contact dementiapartnership@warwickshire.gov.uk

Do you want to hear from us

We are currently conducting outreach with seldom heard and health related groups across the area to talk to them about how to stay well this winter and the services available to them.

If you’re in the Warwickshire North area and are involved with a group who you think would benefit from a visit to hear about how the NHS can help this winter, please get in touch with the communications and engagement team at communications@warwickshirenorthccg.nhs.uk
