Accessing NHS Care

NHS Warwickshire North Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) does not directly provide health services, but is responsible for making sure that health services are available when you need them and is the organisation that pays for all health services in the city.

We buy through a process called Commissioning health services on your behalf from GPs, Dentists, hospitals and other providers.

There are a range of health services that are available to you in Warwickshire and we know that it is not always easy to decide which service is best for you.

Choose Well

Make sure you get the right treatment, in the right place, at the right time. Your time is a precious thing. 

Hundreds of people in Warwickshire spend hours at Accident and Emergency each week for minor illness and ailments when other services would have been more appropriate.

Putting patients in control of their outpatient appointments

The NHS e-Referral service (e-RS) provides an easy way for patients to directly manage their first hospital or clinic appointment with a specialist, enabling appointments to be easily booked, checked, changed or cancelled online. GPs and practice staff can now email referral booking information securely to patients who have an NHS login and patients can also manage their referral in the NHS App - removing the need to print and post booking instructions.
